3 UWA Online Programs Receive Top Rankings for Affordability

At the University of West Alabama, we pride ourselves on being available and accessible to not only our entire region, but to anywhere with an internet connection through our online programs.

Recently, UWA Online’s accessibility was recognized on a national scale in terms of being one of the most affordable collegiate online programs in the country.

This year, three UWA Online programs received top designations in terms of affordability, distinction, accommodation and a host of other factors.

M.S. in Experimental Psychology, Top 10 Most Affordable: Offered by the College of Liberal Arts through UWA Online, this program was ranked fourth among the top 10 most affordable online master’s programs for 2016 by Online Psychology Degree Guide, outranking Harvard University’s M.S. in Experimental Psychology.

M.Ed. in School Counseling, Top 10 Most Affordable: Offered online by the Julia S. Tutwiler College of Education, the masters of education in school counseling was recognized by Best College Values as one of the top 10 most affordable programs of its kind.

B.B.A. in Accounting, Top 20 Most Affordable: The bachelor of business administration in accounting, a program of UWA’s College of Business and Technology through UWA Online, was named among the top 20 most affordable of similar programs by AffordableSchools.net. The ranking was determined with data from the National Center for Educational Statistics, a bureau of the U.S. Department of Education.
